Target Aviat Parke show Thunder Over Michigan air show’s MiG-23 jet crash: All you may want to know
MiG-23 jet crashed at a Michigan air show, with its pilot and passenger ejecting just in time before the crash. The incident happened during the Thunder Over Michigan air show in Belleville, Michigan. The MiG-23 jet was being operated by two occupants, and they both used parachutes to safely land on the ground. They were taken to the hospital as a precaution, but no injuries were reported. The crash occurred at around 4:00 PM ET on Sunday at the Yankee Air Museum's air show. The Soviet-era jet crashed into unoccupied vehicles in a parking lot at the Waverly on the Lake Apartments. Fortunately, it narrowly missed hitting an apartment building. The plane caught fire upon impact, and emergency crews arrived to put out the flames. Black smoke billowed into the sky. Video footage captured the ejection of the pilot and passenger just before the crash. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The MiG-23 jet was piloted by Dan Filer, a retired Navy pilot from Texas. Filer, who is known for collecting Soviet-made fighter jets, had been flying the only privately owned flying MiG-23 in the world. The MiG-23 was a prominent Soviet war plane during the Cold War, recognized for its advanced radar and fire control system that allowed it to launch missiles at targets beyond visual range, according to the National Museum of the United States Air Force.

MET show performer audience concert song drummer Michael Buble appears at Foo Fighters show. See what happened
Foo Fighters concert in San Francisco. During the show, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl initiated a playful act by questioning the audience's familiarity with Bublé's 2009 hit, «Haven't Met You Yet,» while introducing drummer Josh Freese. Freese, who has played alongside both Bublé and Foo Fighters, joined the band after their drummer Taylor Hawkins' passing. Grohl addressed the audience's claims of knowing the Bublé song, stating that many had volunteered but didn't actually know it. He asked, «Who knows the song?» In an unexpected twist, Bublé himself emerged in the crowd, holding a sign that read, «I [heart] Bublé.» Amidst cheers, Grohl acknowledged Bublé's presence, humorously remarking, «We've got a superfan. He better know the song.» Bublé confidently took the microphone and, with Freese on drums, began singing the song. Grohl playfully complimented Bublé, saying, «OK, this guy's pretty good. This guy's pretty good.» Together, they completed the song before Grohl formally introduced Bublé and recounted his journey to the stage. Grohl praised Bublé's dedication, revealing that the Canadian singer had flown all the way from Argentina that day to perform the song. Grohl's comment on taking a joke to an extreme highlighted Bublé's commitment to the light-hearted prank. In this unexpected cameo, Michael Bublé blended his talent with Foo Fighters' performance, showcasing a seamless collaboration between two well-known artists. The surprise appearance delighted the audience, adding a memorable moment to the concert experience.
