Pamela Anderson raves about new natural, makeup-free look: ‘It’s freedom’
Pamela Anderson is done with makeup. For the last few months, the Ladysmith, B.C.-born Anderson — who for much of her career was best-known as a Hollywood bombshell and Playboy model — has ditched her makeup almost entirely, opting instead for a relaxed, fresh-faced look with her freckles on full display.Even at the most high-profile events, like last week’s Vivienne Westwood Paris Fashion Week show, Anderson has done away with social norms and embraced her natural beauty. The former Baywatch star wore only a light coat of mascara and vintage designer clothing from her own closet to the Paris event. In an interview with Vogue France before the Vivienne Westwood show, Anderson, 56, said the choice not to wear a full face of makeup came subconsciously.“I was dressing in these beautiful clothes, and I thought, ‘I don’t want to compete with the clothes.’ I’m not trying to be the prettiest girl in the room,” she explained in the interview released Tuesday. “I feel like it’s freedom.

Key nuclear secrets that former US President Donald Trump allegedly leaked
Trump gave key details on the US Navy’s elite submarine fleet — including the number of nuclear warheads they can carry and how close they can get to Russian vessels without being detected — to Australian billionaire Anthony Pratt, who passed the information on to dozens of friends and contacts, according to ABC News and The New York Times. The alleged disclosure is only the latest in a string of cases that raise grave questions about Trump’s willingness to keep the nation’s secrets — an issue that’s only going to remain front and center given his commanding lead in the polls to secure the Republican nomination to challenge President Joe Biden again next year.

Can't control promises made by political parties before elections: SC
Supreme Court on Friday issued notices to the central government, the Election Commission of India and the Madhya Pradesh government on a petition filed by a social worker. The Madhya Pradesh-based petitioner, Bhattulal Jain, on Friday argued that «all kinds of promises» were being made ahead of assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Issuing notice on Jain's plea, a bench headed by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud asked him to delete Rajasthan chief minister's office from the array of parties and implead the state in its place. Jain's petition has been ordered to be listed with a pending case filed by BJP leader Ashwini Upadhyay, who has sought directions to the Election Commission to seize election symbols and deregister political parties which promise or distribute irrational freebies using public funds before elections. Jain had earlier filed a public interest litigation before the Madhya Pradesh High Court seeking directions to the chief minister to not make announcements and promises.
