UPS Provident Target Digital NIFTY show week Wipro, MMTC among top 2 stock ideas for the week from Rupak De
Wipro's daily chart shows the formation of a symmetrical triangle pattern, accompanied by lower trading volumes, suggesting a potential breakout in the near future, says Rupak De, Senior Technical analyst at LKP Securities. Besides Wipro, MMTC is his other stock idea for this week. Edited excerpts from an interview:August F&O rollover data shows FIIs decreased their net Long position by 31,000 contracts in August series. Nifty rollovers reduced month-on-month to 78%. What are the targets for the September series given the fact that there's little bullishness left as far as the headline indices are concerned?Nifty witnessed a rollover rate that was on par with the three-month average. Notably, the Cement sector and Realty sector stood out as the top two sectors where the rollover rate exceeded the three-month average rollover. Within the market, Dalmia Bharat, MCX, and Bharti Airtel were the top three stocks exhibiting the highest divergence in rollover rates compared to their respective averages. In the September series, the Nifty appears to be in a bullish trend as it has just crossed above the 21-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) for the first time in several days. This suggests the potential for a bullish reversal. Additionally, the index has broken out of a falling channel, further indicating increasing bullish sentiment.

UPS Target Fighting Banner country Latin Myanmar angry with Pakistan over 'unfit' fighter jets supplied by Islamabad: Report
JF-17 Thunder, supplied to Myanmar by Pakistan were declared unfit and the military junta has sent a «stern message» to Islamabad to answer for the mess, Myanmar-based Narinjara News reported citing sources. Pakistan supplied many JF-17 Thunder combat aircraft to Myanmar between 2019 and 2021 and all have been declared «unfit for operations.» The delivered planes were part of a deal that the Burmese military junta signed in 2016 to purchase JF-17 produced jointly by Pakistan Aeronautical Complex and Chengdu Aircraft Industries Corporation of China. But soon after the delivery of the aircraft, the Burmese Air Force was forced to ground the planes as malfunctions and structural flaws were detected. The failure of JF-17 appears to be shimmering tensions between Islamabad and Naypyidaw and somehow compelled China to intervene. A recent visit by Myanmar's Chinese envoy to Naypyidaw is said to have carried a message from the CCP's top leadership to Gen Min Aung Hlaing, as per Narinjara News. According to sources, Pakistan is trying hard to renegotiate the deal with newer versions of the JF-17s.

COST Target Remark awards Highways country Infra projects granted to 'close friends' of BJP: Congress targets govt over CAG report
Congress on Sunday targeted the Modi government over a recent CAG report on Bharatmala project, alleging that infrastructure projects have been granted to "close friends" and donors of the BJP and asserted that only a JPC probe can unravel the truth. In a statement, Congress general secretary (communications) Jairam Ramesh said the Bharatmala Pariyojana is aimed at developing 35,000 km of national highways to make freight movement across the country more efficient. «Yet, the most remarkable feature of the project has been the efficiency with which costs have been inflated and projects handed over to the Prime Minister's close friends and his party's electoral bond donors, as shown in a recent CAG report covering the period 2017-21,» he alleged. The Congress leader said the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) awarded a 250 km four-lane project between Suryapet and Khammam in Telangana to a consortium in which Adani Transport was the dominant partner with a 74 per cent work share. According to the CAG, he said Adani Transport «did not fulfil the condition of 'Request for Proposal' regarding experience of five years» building highways. «Despite being completely unqualified to bid, Adani Transport once again benefited from Modi's Magic.
