Astra Microwave Products share price jumped more than 7% to hit a fresh 52-week high on Friday after the company won orders worth ₹158 crore for satellite and radar systems. Astra Microwave share price jumped as much as 7.72% to a 52-week high of ₹398.60 apiece on the BSE. Astra Microwave bagged orders for supply of Satellite sub-systems, Airborne Radar and sub-systems of Radar and EW projects, from Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs), the company said in an exchange filing.

Shoppers Stop share price cracked over 11 per cent in morning trade on BSE on Friday (August 25) a day after the company said the company's managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) Venu Nair resigned from his position. Shares of the company opened at ₹799.85 against the previous close of ₹811.45 and plunged 11.34 per cent to the level of ₹719.45 in trade soon. Around 11:45 am, the stock was trading at ₹724.65, down 10.70 per cent, on BSE.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) share price fell almost 2 per cent in morning trade on BSE on Friday, looking set to extend their losing run into the second consecutive session amid weak market sentiment. The stock opened at ₹2,686.95 against the previous close of ₹2,687.50 and slipped 1.86 per cent to the intraday low of ₹2,637.55 in Friday's trade so far. Market participants said the stock is witnessing some profit booking as it has gained strongly in the recent past.

Bajaj Finance share price gained 2% in the early trade on Friday after global brokerage firm Nomura initiated coverage on the stock with a ‘Buy’ rating. Flax Typhoon" has targeted dozens of Taiwanese government agencies with the likely aim of spying on them, Microsoft has revealed.Taiwan has long accused China — which claims the self-ruled island as its territory — of espionage through cyberattacks on its government networks. Microsoft said Thursday that Flax Typhoon, «a nation-state actor based out of China», has since mid-2021 mainly «targeted government agencies and education, critical manufacturing, and information technology organizations in Taiwan». The activities observed suggest «the threat actor intends to perform espionage and maintain access to organizations across a broad range of industries for as long as possible,» the US tech giant said in a blog post. «However, Microsoft has not observed Flax Typhoon act on final objectives in this campaign.» China has long vowed to take Taiwan — by force if necessary — and has stepped up military and political pressure on the island. In addition to government agencies, Microsoft said Flax Typhoon has also targeted «critical manufacturing and information technology organizations in Taiwan». The firm said outside of Taiwan, there were some Flax Typhoon «victims» in Southeast Asia, North America and Africa. Last month, Microsoft said China-based hackers seeking intelligence had breached the email accounts of a number of US government agencies. That hacking group — which Microsoft called Storm-0558 — primarily focuses on «espionage, data theft, and credential access». The company also warned this year that state-sponsored Chinese hackers had infiltrated critical US infrastructure networks, saying this was likely aimed at hampering the United States during a conflict. ₹5,797 crore during the session.India is likely to skip selling sovereign green bonds this fiscal year as investors demand higher yields despite their eco-friendly label, said a senior government official.The earlier plans to issue ₹15,000-16,000 crore in green bonds during the second half of FY24 have been put on hold.“Green bonds haven’t provided any benefits yet. What is the point of issuing green bonds with so many conditions if it costs the same as other bonds," the person said.
