Beyond elections, track these 6 factors also to understand Nifty movement this week
stock market, undoubtedly, this week would be the outcome of the Lok Sabha election results on June 4, investors would be eyeing other key triggers too after last week's profit booking. A typical election week is full of heightened volatility and wild swings. «The Indian market is currently trading at a premium, having largely discounted the growing likelihood of the continuation of the Modi era. Consequently, we cannot rule out the possibility of profit booking in the second half of the trading session following an initial upward movement,» said Arvinder Singh Nanda of Master Capital Services.

The cuts include 3.66 million bpd by OPEC+ members valid through to the end of 2024, and 2.2 million bpd of voluntary cuts by some members which expire at the end of June.Despite deep production cuts Brent crude prices are trading near their lowest this year at $81 per barrel, down from a peak of $91 in April, pressured by elevated stocks and concerns over the global demand growth. The Paris-based watchdog International Energy Agency (IEA) had lowered its forecast for 2024 oil demand growth, widening the gap with OPEC+ in terms of expectations for this year's global oil demand outlook.

Indian crypto market is brimming with potential, with several decentralised homegrown projects taking off and building impact. However, an ambiguity around regulations has got all private players in the Web3 space tiptoeing around real use cases. How to navigate IP challenges in the rise of social media
Social media platforms have transformed the way people communicate, connect, and share information. While social media has created immense opportunities for engagement and expression, it has also raised a myriad of legal challenges, particularly concerning intellectual property (IP) rights including issues around content ownership, digital rights management, deep fakes etc. It, therefore, becomes important to understand these challenges and strive to achieve a balance between social media and the IP rights. Broadly, IPs are creations of the mind and key IPs include trade marks, copyrights, and patents. Trade marks are essentially brand names that identify one business from another. Copyrights are creative works that include literary content, music recordings, films etc. Patents protect inventions.
