Investing.com-- US stock futures fell marginally Friday, handing back some of the previous session's gains, as investors digested recent inflation data as well as quarterly corporate earnings.

Stocks finished the day higher, with some wild moves in the final minutes on a $4.1 billion buy imbalance, sending the Nasdaq 100 up almost 1% and the S&P 500 up about 50 bps.

Investing.com -- U.S. stock futures hover below the flatline heading into the final trading day of the week, as investors digested fresh inflation data and eyed the path ahead for Federal Reserve interest rates. OpenAI is reportedly planning to name new board members, as the artificial intelligence group behind ChatGPT faces increased regulatory scrutiny. Elsewhere, China's manufacturing activity slows for the fifth straight month in February.

Shares of Gland Pharma Ltd.(up 1.23 per cent), Laurus Labs Ltd.(up 0.93 per cent), Sanofi India Ltd.(up 0.61 per cent), Lupin Ltd.(up 0.22 per cent) and Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 0.1 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.

Shares of Wipro Ltd.(up 0.1 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.

Dell Technologies forecast annual revenue and profit above Wall Street estimates on Thursday, betting on demand for its artificial intelligence servers, sending the company's shares up more than 16% in after-hours trading. Dell is a beneficiary of rising demand for its AI servers that are equipped with chip designer Nvidia's graphics processing units (GPUs), which helps to meet the demands of high-performance computing.

PI Industries Ltd. gained 0.22 per cent to Rs 3680.0 in Friday's trade. It hit a high of Rs 3698.95 and low of Rs 3649.0 during the session. On the technical charts, the 200-DMA of the stock stood at Rs 3580.93, while the 50-DMA was at Rs 3468.05. If a stock trades above 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it usually means the immediate trend is upward. On the other hand, if the stock trades below 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it is considered a bearish trend and if trades between these averages, then it suggests the stock can go either way.

Harsha Upadhyaya, CIO-Equity, Kotak AMC, says it is definitely difficult to find value buys in this market, but there are several sectors which are likely to grow at a decent teens kind of earnings trajectory. Those are the names which will have potential to outperform the market. Maybe the volatility will increase, but still there is enough growth on the table. Upadhayaya further says: “It is not that mid and smallcaps will not give returns or correct a lot at this point of time, it is just that from a risk-reward perspective, it makes sense to have a little bit of tilt towards largecaps and that is what we have been suggesting to most of our investors.”

ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd. fell 3.6 per cent to Rs 1651.05 in Friday's session as of 01:28PM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 1058.48 points higher at 73558.78. Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap down start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 1739.95 and a 52-week low of Rs 1049.1 on NSE. Around 18062 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:28PM (IST).
