Sona Comstar ( Sona BLW Precision Forgings) shares jumped nearly 6% to Rs 648 in Friday intraday trade on BSE after the auto component maker received certification under the auto Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. The company had filed seven applications for different products under the PLI scheme, and it has received the certification for its first product, a hub wheel drive motor for electric two-wheelers, Sona Comstar said in a regulatory filing.

India does not 'rush' into any Free Trade Agreement (FTA) if the pact is not equitable, balanced, and fair for the country, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Friday said. He said that the ground realities in India have changed now and the offers made by partner countries in these agreements are «not at all» comparable to what India is offering to the world. At present, negotiations for FTAs with the UK, Oman, and the four-nation European Free Trade Association (EFTA) are nearing conclusion. EFTA members are Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland.

On the upside, clearly 22,300 is acting as a major hurdle and every time the market makes a dash towards 22,300, we do see a bit of a profit booking. Bulls are also protecting 22,100 to about 22,000 levels from where markets actually reversed in trade yesterday. So, all in all, the range has shifted from 21,500 to 22,000 to now maybe 22,300 on the upside to about 22,000-21,900 on the downside.” Agarwala further says: «The first trading pick is Indus Towers, this is one stock which never used to pop out and suddenly after forming a base stock is now inching higher and then making higher highs, higher lows. So, maybe at current levels one can look at initiating fresh long positions, for a target of Rs 251 to about Rs 260 on the upside with a stop loss at Rs 228 on the downside. The second stock is Tata Consumer. One can look for a target of Rs 1210 on the upside with a stop loss at Rs 1130 on the downside looks like a good trade.»

BERLIN (Reuters) — Shares in Germany's Lufthansa were trading 3.6% lower at 0833 GMT on Friday, as shareholders reacted to the airline's announcement that it would shed two thirds of its board by the middle of the year.

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. traded 0.22 per cent up in Friday's trade at 01:34PM (IST). Around 2,875 shares changed hands on the counter. The counter opened at Rs 1262.45 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 1262.45 and Rs 1238.0, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 1299.9 and a 52-week low of Rs 895.0.

Tube Investments of India Ltd. fell 1.18 per cent to Rs 3642.45 in Friday's trade as of 01:44PM (IST) even as the benchmark Nifty ruled at 22241.9, up 24.46 points. The scrip had closed at Rs 3686.05 in the previous session. The stock quoted a 52-week low of Rs 2432.0 and a high of Rs 4120.8. The company quoted a market-cap of Rs 70350.55 crore on the BSE.
