Bitcoin ETFs had their first day of net negative outflows for the month of February on Wednesday– a possible sign that hype around the investment vehicles is starting to die down.

Ltd, Sun Tv Network Ltd, Bharat Forge Ltd, Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd, Cantabil Retail India, Aegis Logistics Ltd, BLS International Services Ltd, India Nippon Electricals Ltd, Career Point Ltd, Dynamatic Technologies Ltd, Gretex Corporate Services Ltd, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd, Modison Ltd, Nicco Parks & Resorts Ltd, Nirlon Ltd, Sandesh Ltd, Saurashtra Cement Ltd, Taparia Tools Ltd, United Drilling Tools, Xchanging Solutions Ltd, Zydus Lifesciences Ltd, Kaveri Seed Company Ltd, and Remedium Lifecare Ltd will be in focus when the stock market opens on February 23 (Friday). The Board of Directors of these companies have declared interim dividend, shares buyback, and stock split for their eligible shareholders.

F&O ban list: A total of 15 stocks have been banned for trade on Friday, February 23, 2024, under the futures and options (F&O) segment by the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The securities have been put on ban under the F&O segment as it crossed 95 per cent of the market-wide position limit (MWPL), according to the NSE. However, the stocks will be available for trading in the cash market.

Nvidia on Wednesday forecast a roughly threefold surge in quarterly revenue that handily beat estimates as the company banked on towering demand for its industry-leading artificial-intelligence chips, sending its shares higher.

Speculative traders intent on driving down the price of shares of B. Riley Financial Inc. have attempted to undermine the company’s credibility through a smear campaign, industry sources say, that includes spreading lies about individual employees and questioning the firm’s financial health.

ABB India surged 9% to close at Rs 5,439 as analysts at most top brokerages raised or retained share price targets on the stock after the company reported strong profit in third-quarter results. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 5,450 earlier in the session. The revised average analyst price target on ABB India available on Bloomberg after the third-quarter results was Rs 5147.42, implying a downside of 5.36% over Thursday’s closing. “We see ABB as a perfect trifecta of automation, electrification, premiumisation,” said Nomura’s analysts in a client note. ABB shares jumped 20% in the previous two trading sessions. Analysts at Kotak Securities said that the pace of execution is likely to moderate due to the increased execution period since large orders have doubled. But margins are likely to be resilient bolstered by premiumisation, higher utilisation, and value-based pricing. “Order inflow growth remains constrained by select sectors firing. The pace of execution may moderate further while margin may remain resilient,” said Kotak Securities in a note.

Elevation Capital, the largest institutional shareholder in One 97 Communications-- owner of digital payments brand Paytm-- is staring at a massive erosion in the worth of its holding, amid a free-fall in the shares of the beleaguered company following the regulatory ban on its payment bank operations that comes into effect on March 15. The Ravi Adusumalli-led fund’s 15% stake in One 97, which was valued at about Rs 6,100 crore when the post-IPO lock-in expired in November 2022, had shrunk by nearly 40% to Rs 3,800 crore at the end of trading on Thursday.
