Earlier, asset reconstruction companies (ARCs) would ask creditors selling bad loans for central KYC records, but now the RBI is insisting on full KYC. «When purchasing portfolios from banks/NBFCs, RBI requires ARCs to maintain KYC documents for all accounts.
