The sources of funds are TotalEnergies JV Proceeds ($300 million), promoters preferential allotment ($281 million) and debt service reserve account, hedge reserves and interest on reserve account ($169 million), respectively, said Adani Green in a BSE filing.

SBI Life Insurance Company jumped nearly 3% to the day's high of Rs 1420.15 on the BSE on Monday following the company's decent December quarter earnings. Brokerages remain optimistic about the prospects of the state insurer, with Jefferies and CLSA reiterating their buy views on the counter. The latter also raised the price target, highlighting the company's wide presence as an advantage. Among domestic brokerages, Motilal Oswal and Nuvama maintained their buy views. SBI Life on Thursday reported a net profit of Rs 322 crore for the quarter ended December, up 6% from Rs 304 crore posted in the same quarter last year. China Evergrande, China Evergrande New Energy Vehicle Group, and Evergrande Property Services was halted. The benchmark Hang Seng Index was up 1.2 percent.

Stock market today: Despite strong Asian cues, the Indian stock market ended lower on Thursday. The Nifty 50 index lost 101 points and closed at the 21,352 level, the BSE Sensex shed 359 points and finished at the 70,700 mark while the Bank Nifty index ended 216 points lower at the 44,866 level. Broad market indices fared better than the Nifty and the BSE Small-cap index ended in the positive even as the advance-decline ratio remained positive at 1.27:1.

New Delhi: The government is planning to roll out a faster biometrics-based process for international passengers to speed up immigration checks as part of the strategy to develop India's airports as global transit hubs. The New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru airports will introduce automated immigration clearances, allowing international entries and departures without physical passport verification, people aware of the details told ET.
