Stock market update: Mining stocks up as market rises

KIOCL Ltd.(up 5.39%), Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd.(up 4.88%), The Orissa Minerals Development Company Ltd.(up 3.21%), Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.(up 2.46%), MOIL Ltd.(up 2.38%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.67%), NMDC Ltd.(up 1.57%), Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd.(up 1.52%), Aro Granite Industries Ltd.(up 1.39%) and Ashapura Minechem Ltd.(up 1.07%) were among the top gainers.
20 Microns Ltd.(down 2.14%) and Pokarna Ltd.(down 0.95%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 211.36 points up at 21563.95, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 658.4 points at 71359.07 at around 10:09AM.
Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 4.79%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 4.13%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 3.46%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 3.23%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.94%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 2.39%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 2.21%), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.85%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.81%) and Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.75%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
