Stock market update: FMCG stocks up as market rises

Umang Dairies Ltd.(up 8.77%), Future Consumer Ltd.(up 5.01%), Parag Milk Foods Ltd.(up 4.58%), Heritage Foods Ltd.(up 4.35%), Vadilal Industries Ltd.(up 3.88%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories Ltd.(up 3.88%), Nakoda Group Of Industries Ltd.(up 2.29%), Dodla Dairy Ltd.(up 1.96%), ADF Foods Ltd.(up 1.81%) and Colgate-Palmolive(India)Ltd.(up 1.23%) were among the top gainers.
Honasa Consumer Ltd.(down 2.80%), Euro India Fresh Foods Ltd.(down 2.23%), Sheetal Cool Products Ltd.(down 1.14%), Prataap Snacks Ltd.(down 1.13%), Varun Beverages Ltd.(down 0.77%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 0.65%), Gillette India Ltd.(down 0.57%), Dangee Dums Ltd.(down 0.46%), LT Foods Ltd.(down 0.32%) and Adani Wilmar Ltd.(down 0.29%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 80.5 points up at 21319.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 228.77 points at 70599.32 at around 10:14AM.
Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 4.03%), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.69%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.54%), State Bank of India(up 2.1%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.66%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.45%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.27%), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.17%), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.16%) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 1.16%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
