Honeywell Trueno U300 speaker review: Experience sonic pleasure at a reasonable price
₹5,999 but can be purchased for a little over ₹2,500 on most retail platforms. Before receiving the product, I was convinced that it looked like a Bose SoundLink Flex rip off. But when I received the Honeywell Trueno U300, I was pleasantly surprised by its design and build quality. Let's be clear, there's nothing radical happening here; this speaker is conventionally functional. There are buttons on the top for added controls, and twin bass radiators at the back, along with a Type-C charging port, AUX input, micro SD card support, and USB playback.

Task cut out for Hooda: End Congress' decade-long hiatus from power in Haryana
Haryana to be number one once again," Congress veteran Bhupinder Singh Hooda declared from the dais while addressing a poll rally in his home constituency Garhi Sampla-Kiloi here a few days ago. The former Haryana chief minister, who turned 77 on Sunday, has remained a four-time MP from Rohtak and defeated former deputy prime minister Devi Lal from the parliamentary seat in the 1990s. Although the Congress has made it clear that its MLAs and the high command will pick the chief minister if the party wins the elections, Jat stalwart Hooda is virtually the face of the Congress for the upcoming Assembly polls. The Congress is contesting 89 seats — except Bhiwani which it has left for the CPI(M) — and the majority of these have gone to Hooda loyalists or those considered close to him. Besides, the party has re-fielded all 28 sitting MLAs, most of whom owe allegiance to Hooda.

The former state JD(U) president was visibly unhappy over his absence in posters put up on the occasion of the meeting, and told reporters: «I am not in Janata Dal (United)». Europe's EV troubles bubble up at Brussels Audi factory
Audi factory in Brussels described by the German carmaker as the «cradle» of its electric drive, around 200 picketing workers huddled around a bonfire in the morning drizzle. The firm is considering closing the plant, a move that analysts say is symptomatic of the troubles afflicting Europe's wider electric car industry, amid low demand and competition from China. Audi is a subsidiary of Volkswagen, which earlier this month made the bombshell announcement that it was considering the unprecedented step of closing production sites in Germany.

What will be the impact of import duty rejig in edible oil on 3 FMCG categories? Abneesh Roy explains
Abneesh Roy, Executive Director, Nuvama Institutional, says the food space is quite attractive and there we will prefer Bikaji because it is a pure-play foods company. Among larger companies, he also likes HUL and ITC. Food is an attractive category, but there are very diversified companies. A double-digit volume growth for Bikaji is seen in last many quarters and that is expected to continue. After the edible oil duty hike, in H2, most of the food companies are expected to take price hikes. That should help overall pricing growth also. While the first quarter was subdued, we did see some positive outlooks from a few QSR companies. What is happening in terms of a meaningful recovery, on ground zero? Abneesh Roy: Gradual recovery will happen. That space has seen slowdown now almost for six quarters. The base has become favourable, but there is a lot of competition between the players and delivery seems to be doing better. So, delivery-focused players should do better. But urban consumption is still a challenge. We have seen the impact of higher interest rates. We have also seen the impact of job losses and the salary cuts in the D2C startups.

The crude system of coded messages keeping Hamas’s leader alive
Subscribe to enjoy similar stories. Hamas’s top leader Yahya Sinwar could well be dead today if not for a low-tech communications system honed in prison that shields him from Israel’s intelligence-gathering dragnet. Sinwar has largely shunned phone calls, text messages and other electronic communications that Israel can track and that have led to the demise of other militants.
