Stock market update: Nifty IT index falls 0.1%

Shares of Infosys Ltd.(up 0.32 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 0.24 per cent) and LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 0.12 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.

On the other hand, L&T Technology Services Ltd.(down 1.21 per cent), Persistent Systems Ltd.(down 1.1 per cent), MphasiS Ltd.(down 0.65 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.43 per cent) and Coforge Ltd.(down 0.35 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty IT index closed 0.1 per cent down at 43352.65.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 27.25 points at 25383.75, while the BSE Sensex stood up 97.84 points at 82988.78.
