The statement contradicted South Korea's assessment of a failed launch Wednesday of a different type of weapon. The launch tested the separation and guidance control of individual mobile warheads to ensure the capability of the Multiple Independent Reentry Vehicle, the North's official Korean Central News Agency said. The separated mobile warheads «were guided correctly to the three coordinate targets» and a decoy that separated from the missile was verified by radar, it said. It was North Korea's first known launch event related to the development of a multiwarhead missile, though outside experts believe it was a preliminary test.

Separately, ICICI Bank is likely to carry out a sale of infrastructure bonds on June 28, with the private lender looking to raise up to ₹3,000 crore through 10-year securities, debt capital market sources said.

Greenko Group is in talks with state-run power financier REC to raise funds for its green hydrogen and green ammonia project of 600 MW capacity, said two people close to the development. Greenko is looking to secure ₹2,200-2,400 crore from REC. Upon achieving financial closure, the company will enter into firm and definitive agreements with the lender, one of the persons said. The project has an offtake agreement with Norway's Yara and received pre-certification for ammonia. An offtake agreement is a contract to buy or sell goods in advance of production, which will facilitate financing for the project. Greenko has signed a term sheet with Yara Clean Ammonia in May this year, the trader and distributor of ammonia, for the supply of renewable ammonia from Phase 1 of AM Green's ammonia production facility in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.

NEW DELHI : The Union budget in July is likely to restore the concessional 15% corporate tax rate for new manufacturing facilities, a scheme introduced in 2019 that expired on 31 March this year, two persons aware of the matter said. The plan now is to extend this scheme by one to two years to facilitate fresh manufacturing investment, which is a priority for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, one of the two persons cited above said on condition of anonymity.
