WTO's informal talks on dispute settlement reforms began in April 2022. «More developing countries should join hands and raise their voice against this informal process as well as other issues, otherwise the outcome may not be in their interest,» said Abhijit Das, an expert on WTO issues. Guwahati: Phase-1 MBBS students with 27 displaced and another 6 non displaced students' of the Churachandpur Medical College (CMC) protested as they are debarred from appearing in their first year examination which commences on Tuesday. The 27 MBBS displaced tribal students have filled up their examination forms, admit cards and deposit their examination fees besides submitting copies for payment of fees through the deputy commissioner (DC) Churachandpur. They were informed that their admit cards and other examination materials were sent only to 6 (six) MBBS students and rest of the displaced students' were excluded .The students feel hurt because their fellow displaced students from Churachandpur Medical College were allowed to continue their studies at JNIMS centre uninterrupted but no such arrangement were made.
