Pizza delivery man surprise by Nathan Lane to Joy Behar on birthday goes viral. Check here
Nathan Lane gave a surprise to American show host and comedian Joy Behar by performing as a pizza delivery man who also acts as a stripper. American show host and comedian Joy Behar celebrated his 82nd birthday on Friday on the popular talk show. American actor Nathan Lane surprised her by delivering a pizza man stripper on her birthday. The atmosphere of Joy Behar's birthday is filled with laughter and playful banter. Joy Behar is well known for his witty humor. She referred to Nathan Lane as her first husband when she introduced him on the stage, and it is a lighthearted nod to their enduring friendship that dates back many years, according to The Wrap. As the festivities unfolded, Ana Navarro sought the opportunity to double check with Nathan Lane at the end of his interview. Ana Navarro humorously made an inquiry whether Lane has brought a presentation for Bahar or not. Nathan Lane said that he didn't get anything for Joy Behar as she is still an Italian hot woman, so he has ordered a hot Italian pizza for her. This highlighted the warm and friendly atmosphere of the event as well as the long-standing connections that continue to thrive among the show’s personalities. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq calls for realistic dialogue on Kashmir resolution with BJP government
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Friday urged the BJP-led central government to be realistic and restart the dialogue process for the resolution of Kashmir issue and follow the path set by former prime ministers Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Manmohan Singh. The authorities allowed Mirwaiz to address Friday congregation at historic Jama Masjid after a month-long house arrest for which he has approached J&K High Court as well. The court on Friday directed senior additional advocate general to file response as to whether the petitioner has been put under undeclared house arrest. The case will now be heard in November. «BJP govt should take a realistic approach and accept that we have to resolve this (Kashmir) issue. A precedent in this regard is available with us, like when we spoke with Atalji, Advaniji and Manmohan Singhji, to look for options and a way forward. We need to revisit the same policy if the government wants to resolve this issue,» said Mirwaiz during the Friday congregation. Mirwaiz said that Hurriyat as an organisation may be in disarray after 2019 as several people were arrested and summoned, but it still represents sentiments and emotions of the people of J&K. He said that as long as a part of J&K is in India, a part in Pakistan and some parts in China, especially after 2019, the future of the region is uncertain.

Hear no OTT gaali, see no OTT sex
Gabbarment aa jayega. Well, Gabbarment of India is already making rounds around households that watch streaming films and shows, reportedly planning to bring in 'guidelines' (sic) that will 'beep out profanity and blur explicit scenes'. One presumes this mai-baap plan is to ensure that the child-like people of Ramgarh that is India are not exposed to gaali or steamy content. If true, this colonial mindset that would have been thoroughly approved by Victorian Britons of a certain hypocritical class. The belief (read: phobia) that adult Indians are indistinguishable from children who need to be protected from profanities and smut is as old as the ****ing hills.

No structural downside, liquidity to cushion market dips: Mayuresh Joshi
Mayuresh Joshi, Head Equity, Marketsmith India, says the markets are fearing a possible escalation in the Middle East conflict. In the Indian context, earnings might be a tad bit soft going into this quarter's numbers as well. But with good monsoon, expectations of rural recovery, second half should be relatively better as far as India Inc is concerned. So, Joshi is not looking at a structural downside. Liquidity remains strong and for any fall in the market that comes through, liquidity might come back and cushion them. It is getting bad in the market, could it get ugly? Mayuresh Joshi: There are two-three angles. One, obviously, in terms of how global macros are shaping up. The expectations in terms of the China stimulus has clearly buoyed sentiments in terms of foreign flows towards China. Again, undervalued, under-owned and therefore, the kind of move that we saw on the Chinese markets because of the stimulus was something to be watched out for.

Should you start buying the dips? Consider Reliance, L&T & bank stocks on further fall: Sandip Sabharwal
Sandip Sabharwal, asksandipsabharwal.com, says the first level of buying could be looked at on the largecap side. If Reliance falls 5-7% from current levels, it could be a decent stock to buy for a 15-20% upside over a year's time. If markets correct, typically banks have a higher beta. If they correct more than 10% from current levels, they can be considered. If L&T it falls near Rs 3,200-3,300, then we could have a look at it among the largecaps. These could be the opportunities. Markets were due for a fall. The selling has come. Could this accelerate further? Is it time to put money to work now? Sandip Sabharwal: It is too early to put money to work because of the fact that, one, there could be global factors at play and globally markets could correct and that could lead to some sort of fall coming in India also. Secondly, if you look at economic data which has been coming out starting right from the core industrial data, information where core output was actually down last month and some impact was there of heavy rains, etc, which was down.

Kashmir needs a few more peaceful years: Lt Gen Ghai
15 Corps, Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai said that Kashmir needs a few more peaceful years like 2022, 2023 and 2024 for a lasting peace. He said armed forces cannot be withdrawn or diluted from any area at this stage as the region is going through a consolidation phase. He added that around 80 militants, including 40 foreigners, are active in the Valley, but this year just two locals were recruited in the militant ranks. This is negligible compared to even 2023, when around a dozen locals were recruited, he said. «We need a few more years like 2024, 2023 and 2022 for this peace to be enduring and lasting,» said Lt Gen Ghai, adding the biggest challenge for the forces is to keep the situation as it is today.
