Power Mech Projects on Wednesday said it has bagged an order worth Rs 563 crore from state-owned BHEL to construct a nuclear power plant. The Power Mech Projects Ltd (PMPL) has secured its first construction project in the critical nuclear power sector, the company said in a regulatory filing. According to the filing, the company has been awarded a significant order valued at Rs 563.23 crore from BHEL- Power Sector Southern Region for Civil, Structural, and Architectural works of turbine island package of 2x700 MWe, PHWR (pressurized heavy-water reactor), Kaiga Atomic Power Project (units 5 and 6) in Uttar Kannada district, Karnataka. The scope of work includes a number of segments covering civil, electrical, and structural works, including TG (turbine generator) building, foundation for all equipment, chemical lab, storage tanks, peripheral drains, and sewage network.

PI Industries Ltd. slipped 0.74 per cent to Rs 3590.7 in Wednesday's trade. It hit a high of Rs 3596.0 and low of Rs 3565.9 during the session. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings (P/E) multiple of 13.69, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 1.34.

On the BSE, Finelistings Techno(down 19.96 per cent), Technopack Polymers(down 17.08 per cent), Sealmatic India(down 14.76 per cent), Knowledge Marine & Engg Works(down 11.74 per cent) and Monte Carlo Fashion(down 11.36 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

One 97 Communications, which runs Paytm, on Wednesday, jumped 5% to hit the upper circuit limit at Rs 359.55 on BSE after it was reported that billionaire Gautam Adani is likely considering picking up a stake in the company. Paytm founder and CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma met Adani at his office in Ahmedabad to «finalise the contours of a deal» on Tuesday, The Times of India reported today. Sharma owns a 9.10% stake in the company and another 10% through a foreign entity Resilient Asset Management.

Mumbai: TA FDI Investors sold shares of Prudent Corporate Advisory Services worth ₹481.31 crore in a bulk deal on NSE on Tuesday. The company sold 29.16 lakh shares at ₹1,650.05 apiece.

Adani Group's promoter entities, led by billionaire Gautam Adani, increased their stakes in two listed entities — Adani Enterprises and Adani Green Energy — in May ahead of a proposed fundraising programme for some of its group firms. According to NSE data, promoter entities bought 72.70 lakh shares of flagship company Adani Enterprises worth ₹2,162 crore and 1.39 crore shares of Adani Green Energy worth ₹2,507 crore in multiple tranches between May 10 and May 23.
