Bitcoin (BTC) has started the week on a negative note. The failure of the bulls to pierce and sustain above the $38,000 resistance has given a small window of opportunity for the bears to try and make a comeback. Strong selling has pulled the price below $37,000 on Nov. 27.

At 9.45 a.m., BTC was trading 1.05% lower at $37,321, while the second most popular token, Ethereum, was down 1.26% at $2,047. Other popular altcoins, such as Solana and Polygon, plunged 2.6% and 2.8%, respectively. Also, BNB, XRP, Cardano, Tron, and Litecoin fell 1-2%. With steady resistance to cross the $38k mark, BTC held steady above $37k over the weekend. Investors feel that BTC’s price action is beginning to show downside correction. Bitcoin, having gained 3% daily, is primed to rally towards the $38,000 level post which $40,000 becomes a possibility.»

Bitcoin (BTC) broke above the overhead resistance of $38,000 on Nov. 24, indicating that the sentiment is positive and bulls have kept up the pressure. Independent Reserve CEO Adrian Przelozny told Cointelegraph that the “next two years are going to be good,” and market activity is likely to pick up in early 2024.

The «fixReducedOffersV1» amendment, which is currently in its final activation countdown phase, is about to bring about a significant improvement to the XRP Ledger (XRPL), which is nearing completion. Following the Binance news, the global cryptocurrency market cap declined by 2.54% to around $1.38 trillion in the last 24 hours.

XRP price has dropped 18.5% from its local high of $0.67 on Nov. 23, and it appears the cryptocurrency will suffer more selloffs in the coming weeks.

The XRP price has risen by 3% in the past 24 hours, reaching $0.612927 as the cryptocurrency market recovers by 2% today.

Traders hate uncertainty; hence, the settlement between Binance, Changpeng “CZ” Zhao and the United States Department of Justice is likely to be viewed as a positive for the cryptocurrency space. Analysts largely remained positive on the deal, but a few sounded cautious due to the Securities and Exchange Commission’s pending lawsuit against Binance.

BNB (6.8%), and Cardano (0.6%) were trading in the green, while XRP (-1.7%), Solana (-6.7%), Dogecoin (-3.8%), Chainlink (-4.4), and Avalanche (-7.5%) were trading in the red. Meanwhile, the global cryptocurrency market cap increased by 0.08% to around $1.42 trillion in the last 24 hours. At 11.23 a.m., BTC was trading 0.6% higher at $37,354. In the last 24 hours, the market cap of Bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency, surged to $730 billion. «Bitcoin is currently trading at the $37,400 level as investors anticipate updates from today's US FOMC meeting. Notably, Bitcoin has achieved a remarkable growth of over 126% since the beginning of the year. Concurrently, Ethereum sustains its position above the $2,000 threshold amidst discussions about the Spot ETH ETF applications in the US,» said Edul Patel, CEO of Mudrex.

The XRP price has dropped by 2% in the past 24 hours, with its move to $0.613876 also representing a 6% drop in the past week.

Major global central banks, spanning Europe, North America, and other regions, have revealed a significant investment in crypto, with XRP emerging as a preferred digital asset.

BNB, XRP, Solana, Cardano, and Dogecoin were up between 1% and 3.70% around 10.15 IST. Bitcoins's gains over the past seven days have been to the tune of 0.80% while for Solana Dogecoin and Cardano, the uptick has been nearly 4%, 2%, and 5% respectively. The laggards on a seven-day basis include XRP (-4.6%), Ethereum (-1.83%), and Tron (-5%). Cryptocurrencies have an inverse relationship with the US dollar. The dollar index was trading at 103.61, down 0.30 or 0.29%. The dollar index (DXY) has tumbled to a two-month low and corrected by 1.9% over the last five sessions, aiding the cause of cryptocurrencies. The weakness has been on account of softer US inflation for the October month which was lower than what the Street was expecting. This has given a fresh impetus to views that were batting for a pause in the interest rate. The lower inflation print may result in the Federal Reserve not doing any further rate hikes. Expert View
