Former professional swimmer Rebecca Achieng Ajulu-Bushell has been named chief executive of 10,000 Black Interns, an organisation that is striving to improve representation in the City.
Ajulu-Bushell — who was the first Black woman to swim for team Great Britain, winning the 2010 British swimming championships and competing in the Commonwealth Games in the same year — will spearhead the future expansion of the foundation, which is now accepting applications for its 2023 summer programme.
