The series, like the footballer's jersey number, consists of 11 distinct pieces produced by 11 prominent artists from the painting community and beyond. In addition to well-known practitioners such as Giovanni Frangi and Federico Guida, prominent artists from a variety of mediums such as Giuseppe Veneziano, Giovanni Motta and Ivan Tresoldi are also involved.
