The category had only three schemes and all the schemes managed to outperform their benchmarks.

Value funds had an outperformance percentage of 70% in April. There were 20 schemes in the category and 14 schemes managed to beat their benchmarks. The ELSS fund and large & mid cap funds had an outperformance percentage of 69% and 66%, respectively.
The large cap funds had an outperformance percentage of 65%. There were 31 schemes and around 20 schemes managed to outperform their respective benchmarks.
Three categories — flexi cap funds, multi cap funds, and focused funds — had similar outperformance percentages of around 54%. Mid cap funds had an outperformance of 38%. Out of 29 mid cap schemes, 11 schemes managed to beat their respective benchmarks.
Small cap funds had the lowest outperformance percentage of around 7%. The category had an underperformance percentage of 93% in April. Out of 27 small cap funds only two
