7 ELSS mutual funds turn Rs 10,000 monthly SIP to over Rs 1 crore in 25 years

ELSS funds or tax-saving funds have turned Rs 10,000 monthly SIP to more than Rs 1 crore in the last 25 years. Only these seven ELSS funds have completed 25 years of existence in the market.

SBI Long Term Equity Fund, the oldest ELSS fund, turned Rs 10,000 monthly SIP to Rs 5.66 crore in the last 25 years. The scheme gave an XIRR of 19.43% in the same period.

HDFC ELSS Tax saver turned the same monthly SIP to Rs 5.08 crore in the last two decades with an XIRR of 18.77%. ICICI Pru ELSS Tax Saver Fund turned the Rs 10,000 monthly SIP to Rs 4.92 crore in the last 25 years with an XIRR of 18.57%.

Franklin India ELSS Tax Saver Fund turned the monthly investment of Rs 10,000 to Rs 4.52 crore in the mentioned period. The scheme gave an XIRR of 18.06% in the said period.
