Elephants and Strength
Another piece, «Strength,» features an elephant, symbolizing loyalty and empathy, and connects to a painting Depp created when Paradis was expecting their first child. «Elephants are mysterious creatures. They don't live with menace in their bones. They protect their own up to the bitter end against any foe,» Depp explained, highlighting the deep connection and respect he has for these animals.
