Actor Nikhil Dwivedi, who is personally acquainted with both, recently shared his perspective on their relationship. He took the opportunity to clear up the circulating rumors.
In a conversation with Filmgyan Viral, Nikhil spoke about the couple's dynamic while working together, noting that they genuinely present themselves as a married couple. He explained, «They're a married couple, so naturally, they have the bond of husband and wife. We've never seen them apart.» However, he maintained that their off-screen equation did not interfere with their professionalism on set. He clarified, «If you're asking whether they were less professional, absolutely not. They were highly professional, and yes, they are a couple.»
For the unversed, Dwivedi worked with Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya in the 2010 film ‘Raavan’. The magnum opus was directed by Mani Ratnam (who also directed them in the 2007 biographical drama ‘Guru’). However, the movie failed to make a mark at the box-office and emerged as a commercial disaster.
