Abrdn posted a pre-tax loss of more than £600m for 2022, following a slump in assets and significant outflows in a year chief executive Stephen Bird called “one of the toughest investing years in living memory”.
The FTSE-listed asset manager suffered net outflows of £37.9bn last year, with £24.4bn of that driven by Lloyds Banking Group.
