Adani Transmission) reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 175 crore in the June 2023 quarter, down 6% from Rs 186 crore in the same quarter of last year. Revenue from operations during the reporting quarter increased 17% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 3,664 crore.
The company had clocked revenues of Rs 3,132 crore in the year-ago period. Other income during the first quarter fell 8% to Rs 108 crore, against Rs 118 crore in last year's quarter.
Segment-wise, revenue from the transmission business rose 11% to Rs 926 crore for the April-June period. The same stood at Rs 836 crore in the previous year period.
Revenue from the GTD business increased 24% YoY to Rs 2,738 crore for the quarter under review. The trading revenue is completely wiped out during the June quarter at meagre 0.01 crore, compared with Rs 83.2 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year.
