Adani Group companies gain Rs 50,000 crore in m-cap

Adani Group companies gained over Rs 50,000 crore in market capitalisation on Tuesday after stocks unexpectedly rose between 2% and 10%. The group’s market cap surged to Rs 10.6 lakh crore following the run-up in the stocks.Adani Green jumped 10%, emerging as the biggest gainer among the group companies.
Adani Power gained 9.2%, while ACC, Adani Total Gas, Ambuja Cements, Adani Wilmar and NDTV rose 4-5% each. Shares of most of the group companies have rebounded from their lows with the Gautam Adanicontrolled conglomerate selling stakes in various fi rms to lower debt.
