Adani Power shares drop 0.46% as Sensex rises

Adani Power Ltd. traded at Rs 606.3 on BSE at 01:29PM (IST) on Friday, down 0.46 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 289.3 and a high of Rs 896.75.
Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 14.57 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 41.44 per share and 5.78 times its book value, as per BSE data.
A total of 219,624 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:29PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 232843.4 crore and is part of the Power Generation — Thermal industry.
The scrip has been an outperformer, up 81.58 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 23.21 per cent gain in Sensex.
