Adani Power shares drop 1.12% as Sensex rises
Adani Power Ltd. traded 1.12 per cent lower in Monday's session at 02:05PM (IST). The stock opened at Rs 535.9 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 543.25 and Rs 515.0, respectively, during the session so far.
The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 589.3 and a 52-week low of 132.55. About 1,201,111 shares changed hands on the counter so far.
Benchmark Nifty50 was up 20.35 points at 20989.75, while the BSE Sensex traded 89.27 points higher at 69914.87 at the time of writing of this report.
In the Nifty pack, 28 stocks traded the day in the green, while 22 were in the red.
Key Financials For the quarter ended 30-Sep-2023, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 14935.68 crore, down 17.52 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 18109.01 crore and down 76.84 per cent from the year-ago quarter. The company reported net profit of Rs 6594.17 crore for the latest quarter.
Promoter Holdings Promoters held 70.02 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Sep-2023, while FIIs held 17.51 per cent and MFs 0.74 per cent.
Technicals On the technical charts, the 200-Day Moving Average (DMA) of the stock stood at Rs 287.47 on December 11, while the 50-DMA was at Rs 392.07. If a stock trades above 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it usually means the immediate trend is upward.
