Adani Power shares gain 0.72% as Sensex rises
Adani Power Ltd. traded at Rs 546.0 on BSE at 11:11AM (IST) on Thursday, up 0.72 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 132.55 and a high of Rs 589.3.
Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.
At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 10.22 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 53.42 per share and 4.5 times its book value, as per BSE data.
A total of 31,551 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:11AM (IST).
The stock commands a market value of Rs 210588.87 crore and is part of the Power Generation — Thermal industry.
The scrip has been an outperformer, up 97.61 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 19.79 per cent gain in Sensex.
During the day, the stock moved between Rs 549.0 and Rs 542.0.
Promoter/FII Holding Promoters held 46.64 per cent in the company as of 30-Sep-2023. FII and MF ownership in Adani Power Ltd. stood at 17.51 per cent and 0.74 per cent, respectively.
