But that meant Dravid had all the time to thrive as VVS Laxman (148) joined him. Fast forward to Day 4 and Dravid had batted for nearly 10 hrs, faced 466 deliveries for his 233 and India ended at 523. But, he wasn’t done.
Ajit Agarkar’s 6 for 41 in 2nd innings meant India had to chase down a tricky 229. As wickets kept falling at the other end, the ‘Wall’ stood tall with an unbeaten 72 to take India home, big time.
