He shed light on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's deep-rooted spiritual connection to the project and his meticulous preparations for the momentous occasion.

Giri described the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla Temple as a culmination of 500 years of «prestige» for India, not just the construction of a temple.

He emphasized that the event signified India's identity, self-respect, and self-confidence.

«After the Pran Pratishta the festival of lights has begun in our entire nation and the whole world too today. It is not a common thing to get such an ascetic national leader. This is the identity of this country, this country's self-respect and this country's self-confidence, its prestige. After 500 years of waiting, this could be possible,» said Swami Govind Dev Giri.
