Akshay Kumar, on the occasion of his 56th birthday, has announced 'Welcome to the Jungle', the third installment in the 'Welcome' film franchise.
Kumar took to his official X (Twitter) handle on Saturday and made the announcement by sharing the first look of his upcoming film.
The movie's teaser was accompanied by a tweet that read, «Khud ko aur aap sab ko ek birthday gift diya hai aaj. If you like it and say thanks, I’d say Welcome(3) #WelcomeToTheJungle In cinemas, Christmas – 20th December, 2024. #Welcome3.»
The promo, introduced in the form of an A capella, featured an ensemble cast including Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Rahul Dev, Mukesh Tiwari, Sharib Hashmi, Inaamulhaq, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma.

Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, and Vrihi Kodvara are among the film's female cast members.
In the promo, they are seen in military uniforms, attempting to sing the iconic 'Welcome' tune. However, chaos ensues when Daler Mehndi and Mika Singh break into 'Tunak Tunak Tun'.
An amusing argument between Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi ensues, ultimately resolved by Akshay Kumar, who brings everyone back to singing together.
'Welcome To The Jungle' is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Firoz A Nadiadwala. The film is currently in pre-production and is slated for a theatrical release on December 20, 2024.
