The federal government offers up to $5,000 for the purchase or lease of light-duty zero-emission vehicles, including EVs.Canada’s new Electric Vehicle Availability Standard released in December became part of the government’s plan to have all new vehicles sold in 2035 be zero-emission vehicles.
