Ambuja Cements shares gain 0.93% as Sensex rises
Ambuja Cements Ltd. traded at Rs 642.4 on BSE at 12:12PM (IST) on Wednesday, up 0.93 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 373.4 and a high of Rs 645.9.
Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.
At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 44.6 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 14.41 per share and 2.29 times its book value, as per BSE data.
A total of 90,526 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:12PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 141233.65 crore and is part of the Cement — Pan India industry.
The scrip has been an outperformer, up 68.3 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 23.75 per cent gain in Sensex.
During the day, the stock moved between Rs 645.9 and Rs 635.35.
Promoter/FII Holding Promoters held 0.0 per cent in the company as of 31-Mar-2024. FII and MF ownership in Ambuja Cements Ltd. stood at 11.09 per cent and 6.07 per cent, respectively.
