According to its most recent factsheet, the fund had positive performance over one and three-year periods, delivering double digits returns in both 2021 and 2023. It suffered in 2022, however, with negative returns of -11.2%.
Amundi explained the strategy was designed «in response to client demand in Europe», and with the launch of the GBP share classes, it will be accessible by UK investors as well.
«We are pleased with how the fund has performed so far,» said co-portfolio manager Albertini. «It has achieved positive returns since inception, capturing much of the upside during bull markets and displaying resilience during more challenging markets.»
