Apollo Hospitals on Friday reported net profit of Rs 173 crore for the quarter ended June 2023, down 47% year-on-year (YoY) when compared with Rs 324 crore clocked in the same period last year. Revenue from operations during the first quarter, however, rose 16% YoY to Rs 4,418 crore.
The same stood at Rs 3,796 crore in the year-ago quarter. Consolidated EBITDA for the quarter, after 24/7 operating costs, stood at Rs 509 crore, showing a YoY growth of 4%.
Revenues of the healthcare division increased by 13% to Rs 2,294 crore in the first quarter compared to Rs 2,023 crore in the same quarter of last year. Revenue from existing hospitals grew 10%, while that from the new hospitals rose 23% during the reporting period.MORE TO COME...
