overheating issues in the recently launched iPhone 15 Pro models, Apple has swiftly rolled out the iOS 17.0.3 update to address the problem.
This update, aimed at resolving the overheating issue, is now available for various iPhone models, including the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Contrary to speculations, Apple confirmed that the problem was not linked to the design of the iPhone 15 Pro models but was solely software-related.
The Cupertino-based company revealed that the overheating problem was attributed to a software bug within iOS 17. Certain third-party applications like Instagram, Uber, and Asphalt 9: Legends placed excessive demands on the A17 Pro Bionic chipset, leading to the overheating problem.
The company quickly acknowledged these issues and took prompt action. The new iOS 17.0.3 update “addresses an issue that may cause iPhone to run warmer than expected,” as stated in the release notes. However, Apple has stated that there would be no reduction in the performance of the A17 Pro Bionic chipset following the new update.
