Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have successfully finalized their divorce. The former spouses reached a divorce settlement on October 6, with Ariana reportedly agreeing to make a one-time payment of $1.25 million to Dalton instead of providing monthly spousal support.
In accordance with court documents obtained by E! News, the 30-year-old artist initially requested spousal support and the allocation of property, as stipulated in the prenuptial agreement between her and Dalton.
The documents, which Ariana filed on September 18, specify her desire to retain «miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects» as well as establish that all earnings and accumulations be regarded as separate property. Additionally, the actress from Don't Look Up sought for attorney's fees to be divided between herself and her estranged husband, who is 28 years old.
The documents also state that the couple's date of separation was February 20, with Ariana citing «irreconcilable differences» as the grounds for their divorce.
Dalton will also reportedly receive half of the net proceeds from the sale of their former Los Angeles home, in addition to the pop star covering up to USD 25,000 of his attorney fees.
Grande and Gomez began dating in February 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. By December of that year, they announced that they were engaged.
«Forever n then some,» the «7 Rings» songstress captioned an Instagram photo of her engagement ring.
Back in July, Ariana was spotted without her wedding ring, fueling rumours about troubles with her husband.
As per People, Ariana is now dating her Wicked co-star, Ethan Slater. Slater was married to Lilly Jay, with whom he welcomed a child in January 2023.
