Prithvi Shaw has been ruled out of the remainder of his stint with Northamptonshire after sustaining an injury during the One Day Cup match against Durham. Prithvi injured his knee while fielding against Durham and subsequent scan results have revealed the injury is worse than initially expected, Northamptonshire said in a statement.

Expressing support and well wishes, Shaw's close friend Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, conveyed a message of strength and recovery. «Stay strong buddy wish you a speedy recovery,» Arjun wrote on Instagram.
