Under the leadership of CEO Greg Norman, LIV Golf has firmly established itself as a contender for the future of the sport. What are your plans for strengthening the LIV Golf’s roster of players?
We’re always focused on strengthening the league across the board, including opportunities with our players and teams. That’s just in our DNA and the culture we are building with LIV Golf. The addition of Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton, and Legion XIII earlier this year is an example of that and speaks of the league’s overall mindset and direction.
That said, we’re proud of the level of competition with our current roster, and the results of our 2024 Team Championship in Dallas tell that story. Very few people had [expected] Kevin Na’s Iron Heads beating Smash and Brooks Koepka, but that’s precisely what happened. That’s what makes LIV Golf so special – like in any team sport, anything can happen, where the underdog beats the team with stronger name recognition. When you bring exciting players and new formats together, great things occur.
