Assam CM meets Pralhad Joshi, assures full cooperation to fulfil state's power demands

Himanta Biswa Sarma met Union Minister for Coal and Mines, Pralhad Joshi at his Parliament office here on Thursday.

Chief Minister Sarma and Union Minister Joshi held discussions on a gamut of issues, including coal supplies to Assam.

The Union Minister assured the Chief Minister full cooperation and support from the Union Government in fulfilling the state's power demands and also reiterated his commitment towards the welfare of people of Assam.

The Chief Minister thanked the Union Minister for his support and assistance towards Assam.

Later, taking to X, formerly Twitter, Union Minister Joshi said, Chief Minister of Assam Shri @himantabiswa ji paid a visit to my Parliament office today. Held discussion on a wide range of issues including coal supplies to the State.
