Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that within the span of one month and without any investment summit Assam has secured Rs 80,000 Crore investment.
Sarma stated in X, “Today, within a span of 1 month, without any investment summit, Assam has secured about 80,000 cr of investment. This has only been possible due to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri@narendramodiji’s relentless focus on Assam”.
Prime minister Narendra Modi will come on a two-day visit to Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. In Assam Prime minister will lay the foundation stone or inaugurated a project worth Rs 18,000 Crore in Assam.
Sarma said, “Recently Prime minister came to Guwahati and inaugurated/ laid the foundation stone for a project worth Rs 20,000 Crore. Within the span of 20 to 30 days the Prime minister is again coming to Assam and giving us a project worth Rs 20,000 Crore. I have been in politics since 2001. I have never seen this kind of investment in Assam.”
He said, “People were objecting that our crude oil is sent outside Assam, today the Prime minister is sending back crude oil to Assam. Not only the capacity of Numaligarh refinery is being enhanced, but he is also doing it for Digboi, Guwahati and Bongaigaon. All four refineries of Assam are under expansion.”
He added, “To run these refineries crude is being sent from Paradip. Production in Assam has remained static. We were not even aware that it is possible to send crude from Paradip to Assam. This is the golden period of Assam. On 30th Pm will lay the foundation of a
