State Election Result 2023 Date: With no clear signals emerging from the exit polls for the recently-concluded Assembly elections in Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, all eyes are not trained on the Election Commission of India as it begins the counting process and the subsequent declaration of results. The political arena remains charged with anticipation around the results as parties and candidates await the people’s verdict with bated breath.

Exit poll survey results remain divided on the outcome of the Assembly elections, especially in the Hindi-heartland states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. While Most exit poll surveys predicted a neck-and-neck contest in MP with a slight edge to the Congress, agencies like Axis My India and Today’s Chanakya have projected a landslide win for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Rajasthan, however, is a tale of contrast. While most pollsters have predicted a clear majority for the BJP, India Today-Axis My India and News 24-Today’s Chanakya have predicted an advantage for the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government in the state. There appears to be some consensus among pollsters over the outcome in Telangana and Chhattisgarh with both projected to go the Congress’ way.
