Avenue Supermart shares drop 0.05% as Sensex rises

Avenue Supermarts Ltd. traded at Rs 5105.55 on BSE at 12:12PM (IST) on Tuesday, down 0.05 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 3493.05 and a high of Rs 5220.0.
Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 125.25 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 40.74 per share and 15.76 times its book value, as per BSE data.
A total of 2,548 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:12PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 332059.32 crore and is part of the Supermarkets industry.
The scrip has been an outperformer, up 37.37 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 22.41 per cent gain in Sensex.
During the day, the stock moved between Rs 5174.95 and Rs 5088.05.
Promoter/FII Holding Promoters held 74.65 per cent in the company as of 30-Jun-2024. FII and MF ownership in Avenue Supermarts Ltd. stood at 9.22 per cent and 6.81 per cent, respectively.
