Startup Mahakumbh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi likened the spirit of entrepreneurship to the realm of politics. Emphasizing the essence of innovation and resilience, he underscored the disparity between traditional political ventures and the dynamic nature of startups.
«Many people try to 'launch' startups, especially in politics, sometimes multiple times… The difference between you and them is that you're experimental. You try new ideas after the failure of one launch,» PM Modi said without taking any name.
The dig was apparently made on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi's recent endeavors, including the Bharat Jodo Yatra and the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, are perceived as strategic moves to rebrand himself and assert his leadership within the Congress party, particularly in the lead-up to the forthcoming General elections. Notably, Gandhi is poised to contest again from his current constituency, Wayanad.
Speaking on the trajectory of innovation and development in the country, Prime Minister Modi commended India's timely decisions that have propelled the nation forward. «Today, the energy & vibe is amazing! Strolling along the stalls and watching your inventions, I could feel the vibe that India's future holds many Unicorns and Decacorns. For promoting startups, India made the right decisions at the right time,» he expressed.
