Maharashtra, the Bombay High Court on Thursday questioned the investigating authorities on whether complaint has been filed against the school where the incident happened under provisions of POCSO.
«Did you register any case against the school? There is a provision in POCSO to make the concerned officer of the school a party for not reporting the crime,» said Bombay HC.
During the hearing, the High Court was told that the investigation has started from every angle, and there will be no mistake anywhere.
Further in the hearing, the court asked if the case was registered under POCSO, to which Advocate General Biren Saraf answered with yes, and a woman officer was present at that time. A medical examination of both minors has been completed.

Protesters also pelted stones at police during the protest. Heavy security has been deployed to control the crowd protesting against the incident. Maharashtra Police has arrested more than 40 people and registered an FIR against 300 people following the massive protest over the incident that led to stone-pelting, disruption of train services and lathi charges on Tuesday.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde ordered a high-level probe into the incident and said that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to investigate the case.
