MUMBAI: Bajaj Finance said it plans to raise as much as 8,772.5 crore in share sale to investors, reports Our Bureau. The company said it would sell 12.1 million shares at 7,250 apiece, a discount of about 5% to Monday's closing price.
Last month, the non-bank lender said it intended to raise 10,000 crore, of which 8,800 crore will be raised through a share sale to institutional investors, and another 1,200 crore to the promoter company. Shares of Bajaj Finance closed 1.88% higher at 7,560.05 per share on the BSE Monday.
