Baltimore Police, a tragic incident occurred in the Brooklyn neighborhood of South Baltimore early Sunday, where a mass shooting took place during a block party. The incident resulted in the loss of two lives and left 28 individuals wounded.
The police swiftly responded to reports of multiple shootings that occurred around 12:35 a.m. on Sunday.
The incident took place in the 800 block of Gretna Court, as reported by The Baltimore Sun. During the community celebration known as «Brooklyn Day,» held in the neighborhood, chaos broke out as gunfire rang out, causing panic among the attendees and resulting in numerous injuries.
Sunday's shooting incident is believed to be one of the largest mass shootings in Baltimore in at least a decade. According to the Gun Violence Archive, which tracks shootings nationwide, there have been no reports of city incidents with more than a dozen victims since 2014, the earliest available data.
